This is a Sunday mass at an Ethiopian Orthodox Church in Trinidad & Tobago. Almost all the people here are Trinidadians who all sing and pray in Geez. Trinidad and Tobago was the first country outside Africa and Jerusalem to receive the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. The Church arrived in Trinidad on 16th December 1952 and now exists also in Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica, Bermuda, Martinique, several North American states, Canada, Germany, Sweden and South Africa. In Trinidad and Tobago [there are] nine parishes: Arouca, Port of Spain, San Fernando, Sangre Grande, Mayaro, Point Fortin, Claxton Bay, Siparia, and Scarborough -Tobago.This one is just outside port of spain. The church was first establised by Haile Selassie I.
